My client is one of the UK’s most Innovative software companies. Leaders within their field they have a role for a Software development Project Manager.

They are seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager to lead and oversee a 12 month project roadmap. The successful candidate will deliver key milestones on time, manage cross-functional teams, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. The role demands a technically savvy, detail-oriented professional who excels in breaking down complex requirements, managing competing priorities, and driving teams to deliver high-quality results on time.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Deliverables

Develop a detailed 6-month project plan within the first month, including:

Key milestones

Deliverables and timelines

Resource allocation and required efforts

Build measurable and trackable project timelines using ClickUp for project management.

Requirements Breakdown and Management

Drive the team to break down requirements into assessable, trackable chunks.

Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine business-focused requirements.

Ensure clear, well-documented specifications and effective ticket naming conventions.

Prioritization and Resource Management

Manage competing priorities and ensure alignment with client timelines.

Prioritize tasks effectively across multiple teams and ensure resource optimization.

Progress and Communication

Manage weekly communication of progress, blockers, and milestones to stakeholders.

Foster transparency and ensure all stakeholders remain informed and engaged.

Technical Understanding and Delivery

Collaborate effectively with technical teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical language and development processes.

Deliver high-quality, tested solutions that meet business needs and client expectations.

Testing and Delivery Assurance

Develop and enforce testing strategies to ensure quality deliverables.

Ensure proper validation processes are in place for all project outputs.

Documentation and Organization

Maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, requirements, and test outcomes.
