We are excited to be working with an innovative, stealth-mode startup building a fully decentralised, gas-efficient exchange (DEX). They are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Frontend) to join a small, high-impact team of 5-6 engineers and play a key role in architecting and developing their desktop and mobile trading interfaces, shaping the future of decentralised finance. With £10 million in funding secured, this position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of the first fully decentralised perpetuals DEX leveraging a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) on an EVM-compatible chain.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will:
- Architect and implement desktop and mobile clients, including building frontend features and ensuring a responsive, reliable experience.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend endpoints and real-time data streams.
- Collaborate closely with Backend Engineers, Graphic Designers, and Product Designers to deliver a seamless end-to-end solution.
- Mentor frontend team members on engineering best practices and development standards.
A great Staff Software Engineer will have:
- 10+ years of frontend engineering experience (React)
- Strong engineering fundamentals
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
- Comfortable with broad responsibilities in a lean team
