System Engineer - SaaS, Cloud, DevOps
Up to £575 per day (Outside IR35)
Primarily Remote

My client requires a System Engineer to design, implement and manage infrastructure for a business-critical programme.
Key Requirements:
- Proven commercial experience working as a System Engineer in a large, complex organisation.
- Expertise in designing, implementing and managing infrastructure, tooling and systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell and Bash.
- Expertise in security frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, GDPR), and best practices for securing large-scale infrastructure.
- Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have:
- Immediate availability
- Previous experience working within Oil / Gas / Energy / Utilities industry.
- Flexibility to travel on site if needed.
