Windows DevOps Engineer (AWS Kubernetes) London to £100k

Are you a technologist DevOps Engineer with a strong Windows infrastructure background combined with modern DevOps tools and AWS cloud based experience?

You could be progressing your career at a pioneering digital challenger bank with over 1.6 million users.

As a Windows DevOps Engineer you will help ensure the performance, availability and support of all hardware and services as part of small, talented team. You'll collaborate with Development, InfoSec and Service Delivery teams to ensure the platform is resilient, secure and scalable with increasing levels of automation. You'll take ownership of the architecture and design of the underlying banking platform, designing documentation and sharing specialist knowledge with the team.

You will also provide technical expertise and guidance on AWS and Containerisation as the company looks to move more cloud based systems.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid policy, with three days in the brand new London offices and flexibility to work from home two days a week.

About you:

  • You have experience as a DevOps Engineer within a Windows environment and have a strong knowledge of Windows OS, VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
  • You also have a good knowledge of Linux OS and bash scripting
  • You have networking experience including configuration of firewalls, BGP, OSPF and related technologies
  • You have a strong knowledge of AWS
  • You have experience with Containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
  • You have experience with deploying and maintaining automation technologies such as Octopus, Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform
  • You are collaborative with great communication skills
