Morgan Hunt are partnering with a public sector client looking for an Automation Test Analyst to support their Business Delivery team. This role is key to improving the quality and efficiency of testing, helping to minimise rework on critical applications. The focus is on designing and implementing test automation for key systems that underpin business processes.
Responsibilities:-
Lead automation initiatives, shaping the design, support, and maintenance of the automation framework, while also mentoring junior testers.

Assess web and desktop applications within scope and provide technical leadership to establish automation capabilities at an organisational level.

Define and implement functional and non-functional testing standards, integrating them into the software test cycle and automation solutions.

Work with a range of open-source and commercial test automation tools, such as QTP/UFT, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and TestComplete.

Strong proficiency in Java/C# and object-oriented programming concepts.

Conduct integration and system testing, as well as manage user acceptance and release testing.

Provide regular progress reports on testing activities.

Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
