Role: Test Automation & Release Engineer

Our client is currently on the lookout for a permanent test automation & release engineer who will be able to come in and make an impact from day one. You'll be tasked with writing scripts and creating a worthy automation environment for testing.
Responsibilities:
- Build, run, maintain, and support automated test scripts for a software engineering pod.
- Build test automation frameworks.
- Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
- Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
- Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
- Manage releases between environments.
Essential
- Competence with JavaScript (ideally TypeScript), C# .NET, or both.
- Strong experience with a test automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, Jest, NUnit, XUnit, MSTest).
- Competence with Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Desirable
- Experience with EasyRepro.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development.
- Fluency with SQL (preferable T-SQL).
- Experience with AWS/Azure.
- A degree in an IT or Mathematics related area.
