A really key brand we work with, client side, is looking for a Digital User Acceptance Test Lead to play a vital role in ensuring their

new website, customer portal and all of their communications platforms are thoroughly tested ahead of release.

This role is technical and will focus on second stage testing specifically and provide the final step in signing off a range of digital components

deployed across three inter-related products.

The Digital UAT Lead will be a crucial role in testing and quality assurance (QA) activities. As User Acceptance Test Lead you will be managing business acceptance testing, and contributing to successful project delivery. The client is looking for someone who thrives in an Agile environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about delivering high-quality digital solutions.

Key responsibilities for this User Acceptance Test Lead include:

  • Test Planning and Test Strategy: You will develop as well as maintain comprehensive test plans throughout the project

lifecycle for all aspects of User Acceptance Testing.

  • Test Case Development: You will create and manage test cases based on user stories, user cases and / or requirements documents. This will predominantly be focusing on:

o Key website functionalities - including template deployment, website navigation, forms, and user flows.

o User experience, including design, layout, and performance.

o Content accuracy - you will ensure all content ready for publish is accurate, including text and images.

o Cross-browser and device compatibility.

  • Test Script Writing: You will write detailed test scripts (based on acceptance criteria) specifying:

o User actions (e.g., navigation, form submissions, sign on, basket completion)

o Expected outcomes (e.g., confirmation messages, data submissions)

o Success or failure criteria

  • Real-World Scenario Testing: You will simulate real-world use cases and be responsible for testing both functionality and user

experience

  • Thorough Documentation: You will be a documentation King or Queen and use JIRA effectively for efficient tracking and management.
  • Sprint collaboration: You will be a brilliant collaborator and effectively collaborate with development and project team members throughout sprints,

taking the lead on client testing post sprint demos of key assets.

To be successful in this testing role, the User Acceptant Test Lead needs to have the following Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, with hands-on experience in HTML, and React for front-end development testing.
  • Test Management Tools: Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA to track and manage test cases, defects, and results.
  • Collaborative Testing: Proven experience working collaboratively with 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Cross-Browser & Device Testing: Experience with cross-browser testing tools and techniques to

ensure website compatibility across all platforms and devices.

  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements throughout the

Software Development Lifecycle

  • Performance Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager for testing and

analysing product performance would be a bonus.
