A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Spa and Wellbeing Attendant/Receptionist to join our client’s luxury property development team in Mayfair. The building features luxury apartments and includes a 25-meter swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and steam room, treatment rooms, residents’ lounge, and private screening room.

Joining a welcoming team, you will play a key role in delivering a personal, unique, and memorable service to their residents. You will ensure operations are coordinated and run smoothly and efficiently to the highest standards of warm service and hospitality to their residents and guests. You will personally welcome residents and guests and ensure an outstanding experience.

You will need to be an all-rounder and multitasking individual, comfortable greeting high-profile individuals, facilitating the rest of the team with anything required, maintain the Leisure facilities in the best conditions and will ensure smooth and efficient operations, coordinating the usage of all areas and delivering the highest standards of service and hospitality to residents and guests at all times.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, preferably within a spa environment. Working a 9 hour shift, 5 days on with 2 days off on a rota basis.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Open and close the Leisure facilities following the departmental standard operating procedures
  • Effectively coordinate the usage of the Leisure areas and maintain the highest possible standard of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
  • Ensuring that proper housekeeping is maintained throughout the Spa, Fitness areas, Screening Room and Lounge areas
  • Maintaining all areas in pristine conditions at all times. This will include tiding and cleaning when required
  • Ensure the stock and amenities are constantly replenished in all Leisure areas
  • Assist with the proper maintenance of all equipment
  • Identify and report building and equipment defects or malfunctions in a timely manner
  • Carry out pool tests on a regular basis if needed
  • Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the facilities and equipment operations
  • Conduct facilities show rounds and health & safety inductions
  • Proceed with monthly stock take
  • To act as Spa& Wellbeing ambassador / representatives at events and on occasions when directed
  • Cover receptionist duties as and when required. Check and reply in a professional manner to phone calls and e-mails (when appropriate)
  • Facilitate any bookings for residents and execute any changes swiftly to reflect the high standards expectations

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar position within a luxury hospitality environment
