** 1:1 Learning Support Assistant** Havering, London** September 2024 start** Full time (Monday - Friday)** Bespoke on boarding training programme** £83.33 - £110 per day** Good primary school** Onsite parking

Your role and responsibilities:

** Supporting children with mild to moderate SEN including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Delay, Communication and Social interaction issues, mild behaviour issues.** Working with small groups of children on a 1:1 basis to ensure progression in their learning.** Provide a calm and interactive approach to ensure children feel motivated during lessons.** Promote progression and celebrate the small wins, so that children feel motivated at all times.

Specification/ Qualifications:

** Recognised Speech and Language degree or equivalent** BSL Degree or equivalent** Good knowledge of SEN** Previous experience in similar role** Passion for working with children with SEND** Calm, patient and resilient approach** Work well as team and on own initiative
