Rate: £90-£110 per day

At Remedy we are looking for a superb 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting an ADHD pupil in an SEN Secondary school. As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will be ensuring that that the student is concentrating interacting with their peers and academically improving across all subjects. We would like you join an amazing growing team and display amazing skills to aid the progression of this school.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
