The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring students remain engaged and supported in their learning when teachers are absent. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and encouraging a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage students in pre-set lessons across different subjects.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Support students in completing their work and staying on task.
- Uphold the academy's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Assist with wider school duties as required.
