Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

A creative "Good" Primary School in Newham are looking for a confident, ambitious SEN Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD who is pre-verbal and is requiring additional guidance. This role will begin in September 2024 as a full-time role across KS1.

You will be working alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, various therapists, and inclusion staff as a SEN Teaching Assistant- 1:1 Support, providing specialised 1:1 support to individuals with SEN or additional needs, ensuring the highest level of care is given and ensure the pupils feel safe and happy.

The ideal candidate for this SEN Teaching Assistant- 1:1 Support role would be an individual with experience using PECs and working with pre-verbal children with a passion for SEN who is looking to work with the best specialist staff and equipment.
