SEND Teaching Assistant Role

Empowering Learning is currently looking for an Experienced SEND Teaching Assistants based in West London and surrounding areas. This is a temporary position with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. We are looking for a resilient and positive professional for this full-time position.

SEND Teaching Assistant - Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring school rules are adhered to.
  • Working with students across all key stages with mixed abilities including SEND, PMLD
  • Offering support and empathy to children requiring assistance
  • Reporting health and safety issues on-site to the maintenance team to resolve.
  • Communicating effectively with teachers/children about any concerns or issues
  • Risk assessing the environment and responding accordingly.
  • Observing behaviour, intervening, and addressing when necessary, reporting any safeguarding issues through the correct channels

Experience, Training & Qualifications
