Role: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnet
Pay rate: Up to 550 per week
Start date: September 2025

Horizon Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and pro-active Teaching Assistant who enjoys being a role model for children. The role includes supporting pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex needs. Successful applicants will have skills and qualifications to work within a warm and friendly environment

Key responsibilities:

The supervise and work with groups of children to deliver parts of the curriculum/EYFS under the guidance of the designated teacher, taking account of each child's differing level of development
To establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
To carry out learning tasks as directed by the Class teacher
To liaise with teachers and carry out admin tasks outside the school day or as requested by the Headteacher.
To foster links between home and school and support teachers and children
