EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Southwark

A friendly and inclusive EYFS School in the Borough of Southwark are looking to recruit an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant.

You will be working across both the Nursery & Reception classes as an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), working on a 1:1 basis with children who have been diagnosed with Autism / ASD.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Strong academics across the board - degree (ideal), A levels & GCSEs
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, is ideal
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and sensitivity
