Full-Time Learning Support AssistantLocation: Blackheath (SE13)Salary: £13.50 per hourStart Date: ASAPContract Duration: Until the end of the academic year - Kuly 2025 We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive team at a college in Blackheath (SE13). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students in their learning, providing assistance in both group and one-on-one settings, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to students with a variety of learning needs, both in-class and during group activities.
  • Assist with lesson delivery and offer tailored support to students requiring additional help.
  • Help to create and implement individual learning plans for students.
  • Support students with personal care where necessary and encourage independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure students’ needs are met.
Requirements:
  • A current, valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for this position.
  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • A passion for working with students and a strong commitment to providing support for those with diverse learning needs.
