A top secondary academy (Year 7 - Year 13) with a fantastic reputation in Barnet is looking for a Humanities Mentor to come into lessons and support their KS3-KS5 students throughout their establishment. A Humanities Mentor will be responsible for helping students in a plethora of year groups and helping students reach their full potential. 

Humanities Mentor | About the job:

  • A Degree from a Top UK University in a Humanities subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, politics etc) is mandatory.
  • A Humanities Mentor will earn between £96-£105 a day depending on experience | Paid Weekly via PAYE | Inclusive of Holiday Pay.
  • Applicants will be responsible for supporting students with various abilities and helping them reach their full potential.
  • A Humanities Mentor will be expected to help across History, Geography, RE and Politics lessons.
  • It would be advantageous if applicants to the Humanities Mentor position have previous child-centred experience and experience with SEND.
  • Previous Tutoring Experience will be looked upon fondly.
  • Many opportunities for successful applicants to get involved with extra-curricular activities and help out.
  • Term Time only role. Monday-Friday. 8:30 am- 4 pm.
