Interim SENCO / Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion
We are working closely with a large secondary school based in East London who are looking to appoint an Interim SENCO to cover maternity.
Key Responsibilities:
- SENCO responsibilities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and EHCP's
- Lead and support the SEN team effectively.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to enhance support for student needs and ensure their success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Demonstrable leadership and management skills within a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships to support student development.
