Experienced Learning Support Assistant - Year 4 (Primary School in Fairlop, Redbridge)
Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Fairlop, Redbridge, to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 4 team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to their learning and development.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the Year 4 teacher to support the class in all aspects of their learning. Your primary role will be to provide tailored support to students who require additional help to access the curriculum. This includes working with individuals or small groups of children, assisting with both core and foundation subjects, and ensuring that students stay engaged and on track with their studies. You will also be responsible for assisting with classroom management and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, ideally within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and staff.
- A passion for supporting children's educational development and well-being.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and an adaptable attitude to different situations.
Salary and Hours:
- Salary: £90-95 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.
- Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm, term-time only.
- Start Date: March 2025.
