Empowering Learning is partnering with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Lambeth to recruit a Learning Support Mentor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt resources and strategies for individual learners.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote engagement and progress.
- Assist in monitoring and recording student progress, contributing to intervention plans where necessary.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who:
- Has experience supporting young people in an educational setting, ideally within a secondary school.
- Is passionate about making a difference in students' lives.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Holds relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
