As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide essential support to children with Autism, helping them thrive in an educational setting. These students require attentive and compassionate care, and you will work closely with the class teacher to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Learning Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities:- Offering individual and group support to children with Autism
- Assisting the teacher with lesson planning and classroom activities
- Ensuring a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students
- Supporting daily routines and educational activities
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Collaborating with other educators and specialists to meet student needs
- Experience with children with Autism or in a similar SEN role
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Team player with a commitment to inclusivity
- A valid DBS on the update service or readiness to obtain one through our process
