With the start of a new academic year, the SLT are now looking for an ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join the team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 with children and to support the teacher in the classroom.
  • Support pupils in accessing learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Knowledge of ASD
  • Prepare and teaching effective interventions
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Ideally some class based experience
  • Knowledge: Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Desirable: Have knowledge of ASD
