Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional looking to support students in a vibrant secondary school environment? We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Greenwich and make a real difference in the educational experience of our students.

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work alongside teachers in delivering high-quality educational support. You will provide one-to-one or group assistance, helping students achieve their full potential. This is a full-time position, starting immediately, and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to students with a range of additional learning needs, including those with SEND.
  • Assist teachers in preparing and implementing differentiated lesson plans.
  • Support the academic and social development of students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
  • Promote inclusivity and engagement in classroom activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
  • SEND Experience: Previous experience or familiarity with supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is desired.
  • DBS: A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
