We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant at a mainstream Secondary across South East London for children aged 11-19 with mild SEN (Autism, Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, SLD.)
Starting ASAP on a full time & long term, temp to perm basis.
Learning Support Assistant summary;
- Learning Support Assistant with a mild SEN experience.
- Starting ASAP on a full-time basis.
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3:30pm.
- Pay up to £105 per day.
- You may be working outside the classroom on a 1:1 basis
- Working closely with the class teacher and other TAs in your group to provide holistic support to children.
- Most children are working on the Engagement Model of Learning which focuses on 5 main areas: Exploration, Realisation, Anticipation, Persistence & Initiation.
- Rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
- Collaborative, welcoming and inclusive team environment.
- Approachable management.
Learning Support Assistant requirements;
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one).
- Minimum of 2 years professional references.
- MUST have previous school experience
- Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Some experience supporting children or young adults with special needs.
