We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant at a mainstream Secondary across South East London for children aged 11-19 with mild SEN (Autism, Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, SLD.)

Starting ASAP on a full time & long term, temp to perm basis.

Learning Support Assistant summary;

  • Learning Support Assistant with a mild SEN experience.
  • Starting ASAP on a full-time basis.
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3:30pm.
  • Pay up to £105 per day.
  • You may be working outside the classroom on a 1:1 basis
  • Working closely with the class teacher and other TAs in your group to provide holistic support to children.
  • Most children are working on the Engagement Model of Learning which focuses on 5 main areas: Exploration, Realisation, Anticipation, Persistence & Initiation.
  • Rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
  • Collaborative, welcoming and inclusive team environment.
  • Approachable management.

Learning Support Assistant requirements;

  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one).
  • Minimum of 2 years professional references.
  • MUST have previous school experience
  • Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Some experience supporting children or young adults with special needs.
