We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in Havering. This role involves providing 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they receive the assistance and encouragement needed to thrive in an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Be able to assist the class teacher with preparing resources, planning sessions and other tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children achieve their potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the students.
