We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a College Learning Support Assistant. This role involves providing essential assistance to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have equal access to educational opportunities and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Details:

  • Mon-Wed 9am-4pm
  • Long term position
  • £Up to £17 an hour depending on experience
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teaching staff to identify students requiring additional support and develop personalized learning plans.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support sessions to students with various learning needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of strategies to promote inclusive teaching practices within the college.
  • Collaborate with other learning support professionals, educators, and parents to create a comprehensive support network for students.
  • Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive resources to enhance the learning experience for students with disabilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and teaching staff.
