A mainstream primary school in Tooting is looking for a part-time Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated Early Years team. The role involves providing support to nursery-age children with special educational needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:- Support children in nursery with SEN, helping them access learning and social activities.
- Work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
- Assist with personal care and ensure the well-being of all children in the class.
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages children's development and independence.
- Experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years or Nursery setting.
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs is essential.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
- Ability to work part-time with ASAP or January 2024 start dates available.
