Are you an experience EYFS or Primary Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs?Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary school based in Lambeth, assisting in their search for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. You will be supporting a pupil in Reception on a 1:1 basis. The pupil you will be supporting has Autism and Speech, Language and Communication Needs and requires a patient, friendly and positive Teaching Assistant to support them in and out of the classroom. The school is a 5 minute walk from a 'Hub' train station and is easily accessible via Bus and Tube. What do the school require from you?
  • Experience in an EYFS or Primary setting.
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, or a good understanding of SEND.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confident and able to use your initiative.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
