Learning Support Assistant

SEN Learning Support Assistants required

West and South West London

ASAP start

£95-£105 per day

We are currently looking for experienced SEN learning support assistants to work in full time, long term roles to beginning asap and in September 2024. We work closely with primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London, where our LSAs and TAs work with children with a range of needs. At present, we have a high demand for SEN LSAs for secondary schools across West and South West London.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis who have learning difficulties
• working proactively to help students achieve their attainment levels
• encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
• helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn.
• assisting the teacher with students general learning and development.

You will be:

• Knowledgeable and experienced in special needs and learning difficulties
• A strong communicator, able to build a rapport with young people
• Patient and empathetic
• Reliable and committed to the school and students' improvement
• Enthusiastic and engaging
• Able to work alongside the teacher and independently
• Certifications and attendance to training courses for SEN are beneficial, as well as first hand experience with SEN.
