Responsibilities - Learning Support Assistant
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students in line with their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, enhancing the classroom experience for all.
  • Help students with diverse learning needs achieve their academic and social goals.
  • Promote positive behavior and support students with behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and contribute to the overall education environment.
  • Collaborate with the wider teaching staff and other support professionals to maintain a high standard of support.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an education setting.

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students with different needs.
  • Relevant training in special educational needs (SEN) or behavior management is desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to continuous personal and professional development in education.
