TimePlan Education is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming special needs school in Camden. This inclusive school is committed to nurturing every child's potential, providing a positive environment for learning and personal growth.

In this role, you will support a student with challenging behaviour, ensuring they have a safe and enriching educational experience. This is a full-time position, starting ASAP, and requires a Team Teach Level 1 or Level 2 trained professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a student with challenging behaviour, working to foster a supportive and structured learning environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to implement tailored behaviour management strategies and individual learning plans.
  • Utilize effective behaviour management techniques to promote positive engagement and interaction.

Experience Required:

  • Team Teach Level 1 or Level 2 training (essential)
  • Experience supporting students with special needs, particularly in managing challenging behaviour.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and a strong understanding of children's social and emotional development.
  • Reliable, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.
