A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest. This is a long-term role, providing 1:1 and small group support to children with varying additional needs. If you are passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work 1:1 with students or within small groups to support learning across the curriculum.
  • Assist with lesson preparation and adapt resources to support differentiated learning needs.
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on student progress, learning challenges, and accomplishments.
  • Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their independence and confidence.
  • Support students with social and emotional needs, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as an LSA, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar support role within education.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Ability to work effectively with students who have special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
