We are seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a lovely secondary school in Lambeth. If you are passionate about supporting students with SEN needs, including ADHD, and are looking for a long-term, full-time role, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.

Our school is known for its friendly and kind atmosphere, where staff work together to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students. We are looking for someone who thrives in this supportive setting, and who can contribute to a positive and nurturing educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including ADHD, autism, and other learning needs.
  • Assist students with accessing the curriculum and help them develop key academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Support the delivery of tailored interventions and strategies to promote engagement and academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure students receive the appropriate support and guidance.
  • Help manage behaviour in a calm and consistent manner, ensuring a positive and respectful classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the creation of individual learning plans and monitor student progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous school experience, particularly working with students with SEN, ADHD, and related needs.
  • Proven experience in small group workor 1:1 support for students with additional learning needs.
  • A calm, empathetic, and patient approach, with a genuine passion for helping students.
  • A degree is beneficial
