We are seeking a passionate and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Brockley. This full-time role is to support a Year 6 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviour, offering 1:1 support to help them thrive both academically and socially.

�? About the Role:
  • Working closely with a pupil in Year 6 who has ASD and associated behavioural needs

  • Creating a calm, consistent, and structured learning environment

  • Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management strategies

  • Helping the pupil access the curriculum in a way that meets their individual needs

  • Liaising with SENCO, parents, and external professionals where required

? The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have experience supporting children with ASD and/or behavioural needs

  • Be patient, calm, and confident when managing behaviour

  • Be proactive, adaptable, and able to build rapport quickly

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN

  • Ideally have prior experience in a primary school setting
