Horizon Teachers are currently working with a Primary School who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a pupil with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help the class teacher manage behaviour and use your initiative to help best support the teacher and children. You will need to be resilient and be able to quickly create a rapport with the child.The school is also located a 5-minute walk from a Central London train and tube station. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £550 per week. What the school are looking for in their Learning Support Assistants

  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs/challenging behaviours is very desirable.
  • Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
  • Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
