Learning Support Assistant | Immediate Start | Full Time

I am currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work at our newly build Secondary School in Lambeth, South London. This is a brand-new state of the art school and are looking to continue developments across the board. Most importantly we want the ideal candidate to be someone willing to shape the future of young pupil's mind and make a positive impact to students.

  • Contract: Long Term
  • Rates: £100- £120 per day

As a Learning Support Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support: Working closely with students to provide individualised assistance, ensuring they have the necessary support to reach their full potential.
  • Assisting with classroom activities: Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, adapting materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Promoting independence: Encouraging and supporting students to develop independence and confidence in their academic and social skills.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Keeping track of student progress and behaviour and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): Utilising your experience with SEND to provide tailored assistance and accommodations as needed.

The most promising candidates will be those with experience working in SEN at secondary or FE level, relevant training in caring, education, medication. We are expecting the next cohort of students to have moderate SEN and are therefore only seeking experienced LSA's on this occasion.
