Sonic Summary

Tradewind is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs in a primary school in Islington, starting January 2025.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and involves working with children across KS1 and KS2.
Candidates should have previous experience working with SEND children and resilience is crucial for success in this position.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and possess a child enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

Supporting children with a range of complex needs

Primary School based in Islington
KS1 and KS2

The role:

Working in a lovely two form entry school in the heart of Islington
Working with children across KS1 and KS2 a range of Special Educational Needs (ASD, ADHD, Global Delay, Behavioural Issues)
Support and Develop their abilities and interests
Dedication and resilience is key for this role
Support the teacher in preparing resources and classroom management
Organising 1:1 and group learning

Requirements:

Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
