We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant - North London
- Salary: Scale 4, Spinal Point 7 (£29,346 full-time, pro-rata for term time)
- Hours: 5 per week, 40 weeks per year
- Location: North London
- Contract: Permanent
This is a respected school for deaf children who provide innovative education for deaf students aged 3-16.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support deaf students with additional needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Understanding of deafness and special needs (desirable)
- Qualification in or understanding of childcare
- BSL (British Sign Language) qualification (desirable) or willingness to learn
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator
- Committed to equal opportunities
- Experience in positive handling and intimate care (desirable)
