About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to deliver high-quality education and tailored support for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring every student receives the guidance they need to thrive, both academically and socially, in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teaching by assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Help create an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers to aid in their development.
- Build strong relationships with students, offering guidance, encouragement, and emotional support as needed.
- Work closely with the wider school team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting.
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience supporting students with SEN.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible in supporting the needs of students.
