The Role:As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and small group support to students
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Support students with SEN, adapting learning materials where necessary
- Encourage student engagement and build confidence in their learning
- Help with behaviour management and emotional support
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role is desirable
- A genuine passion for education and supporting children's development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
