Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a dedicated team at a specialist provision in Tower Hamlets. This school supports students aged 5-19 years, helping them get back on track academically, either by reintegrating into mainstream education or by completing Year 11 within the provision. The school is committed to providing equality and equity for all students, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:? Support the planning and delivery of lessons by assisting the teacher in preparing resources and materials.? Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups, helping them achieve their learning goals.? Collaborate with teachers and other LSAs to share best practices and strategies for student support.? Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to discussions on student progress, interventions, and learning strategies.

What We're Looking For:

?? Resilience - the ability to adapt and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.?? Experience working with challenging behavior - ideal for those with a background in SEMH, PRUs, or alternative provisions.?? SEMH experience is preferred but not essential - training and support will be provided.?? A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
