Location: Havering

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly school in Havering.

You will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to children/ a child with special educational needs, helping them to engage and learn in a nurturing environment with personalised education plans tailored to each child's unique needs. You will support with creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with children who have special educational needs, especially those who can present challenges
  • A patient and understanding approach, with the ability to adapt to the varied needs of students
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, teachers etc.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields (desirable but not essential)
