Position: SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 12.30pm
About the Role:
Remedy are working with an Outstanding Primary school that are looking for a Part time SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in the Early Years department, mornings, 8.30am until 12.30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective early years education.
- Support the class teacher in creating a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
- Adapt to different school settings and teams, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to each assignment.
Requirements:
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an EYFS setting is desirable but not essential.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across various primary schools.
- A proactive approach to building your career and enhancing your teaching skills.
