We are looking for a Secondary - Learning Support Assistant Teaching who inspires to excel within the education industry. You will be supporting students in a within our leading Secondary in the heart of central London. As a Secondary - Learning Support Assistant will require someone who is enthusiastic about supporting pupils, especially those with mild SEN. This rewarding and challenging role will require you to use initiative and have a creative approach to teaching.

Salary: £110 - £120 per day
Contract: Temp to Perm

Learning Support Assistant | Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one support: Working closely with students to provide individualised assistance, ensuring they have the necessary support to reach their full potential.
- Assisting with classroom activities: Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, adapting materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Promoting independence: Encouraging and supporting students to develop independence and confidence in their academic and social skills.
- Monitoring and reporting: Keeping track of student progress and behaviour and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): Utilising your experience with SEND to provide tailored assistance and accommodations as needed.
Learning Support Assistant | Requirements:
- Previous child-based experience: A proven track record of working with children in an educational or supportive capacity.
- Experience with SEND: A solid understanding of and experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- DBS on the update service: A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.
- Passion for education: A genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the educational development and well-being of young individuals.
- Maths and English GCSE is a must!
