We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school team in North London, starting as soon as possible to support the education and training sector and make a meaningful impact. About the role - Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant:- Start date: Immediate
- Location:North London
- Setting: Working with SEN pupils in a secondary school environment.
- Responsibilities: SEN Teaching Assistants must effectively support students with diverse needs, including but not limited to Autism, Learning Difficulties, Physical Needs, some Non-verbal students, and students with challenging behavior. May include assisting with personal care.
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, with assignments based on experience.
- Class sizes: 8-12 students, with many opportunities for one-on-one support.
- Salary: £85-£95 per day
- Candidates must have a valid CHILD & ADULT DBS or be willing to apply for one.
- A passion for education and training with a proactive, engaging approach.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to reliably commute to North London.
- Previous experience in a similar role supporting SEN students is ideal.
