The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Assist teachers in adapting lesson materials to suit different learning styles.
  • Work one-to-one and with small groups to engage students in their learning.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
