A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Haringey is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in January. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in students' academic, social, and emotional development.
The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist teachers in adapting lesson materials to suit different learning styles.
- Work one-to-one and with small groups to engage students in their learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
