Are you passionate about supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Learner Assistant to join a welcoming primary SEND school in Lambeth. Your Responsibilities:
- Provide individual support to students with SEN, helping them reach their academic and personal potential.
- Work alongside teachers to follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning strategies to suit each child's needs.
- Build an inclusive, positive classroom environment that supports students' social and emotional growth.
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students feel engaged and valued.
- Maintain open communication with parents and carers, providing regular progress updates.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with SEN students is beneficial, though a positive, empathetic attitude and strong commitment to student success are essential.
- Flexibility and creativity in adjusting to different learning styles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- While a driver's license and vehicle access can be helpful due to the location in Lambeth, they are not required.
