A welcoming primary school in Lambeth are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant on a full-time basis to support a pupil on a 1 to 1 basis.

The Role

In this role you will be supporting a child a diagnosis of ADHD and challenging behaviour on a 1 to 1 basis. The child is in KS1 and you will work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to deliver an adapted curriculum has to meet the child’s needs. The child can display challenging behaviours and will require support to manage their emotions and actions in school.

The school are looking for an SEN Learning Support Assistant who has the following: • Previous experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.• Previous experience in managing behaviours that challenge and a willingness to be trained in any child-specific strategies• Caring and kind nature

This role is to start ASAP and is offered on an ongoing contract basis.

This lovely, one-form-entry C of E primary school is in the heart of Camberwell and offers a good education to pupils attending the school. There is a diverse intake and many pupils require additional support but once this is provided go on to make good progress. The senior leadership team are commitment to improving standards through a rich and creative curriculum.
