As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support students with additional needs in their learning and development. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized assistance and ensure students are able to engage fully in their education.
Responsibilities of the SEN Learning Support Assistant:- Supporting students with special educational needs in their day-to-day learning in the classroom
- Helping to implement personalized learning plans, ensuring each student's needs are met
- Assisting with behavior management and creating a positive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and outside agencies
- Providing one-on-one or group support to help students achieve their academic goals
- Ensuring all students feel safe, included, and encouraged in their learning journey
- Participating in regular team meetings to review student progress and strategies
- Supporting students during break times and any extracurricular activities
