SEN Learning Support Assistant – West Norwood, LondonWe are actively looking for experienced and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants in the West Norwood area, London, to provide essential support to students in a school or college setting.Role Details:
  • Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant
  • Pay Rate: £15 per hour
  • Location: West Norwood, London
  • Hours: Full-time or part-time opportunities available
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist students in developing their academic, social, and personal skills
  • Support classroom teachers with the delivery of tailored lesson plans
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during activities and breaks
  • Help with behavioural management strategies and provide emotional support as needed
Requirements:
  • Valid DBS check issued within the last 3 years (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Previous experience working in a school or college environment, particularly supporting SEN students
  • Knowledge of SEN needs and strategies to support learners with additional needs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
  • Availability to start immediately
